Qimarox ha sido nominada por primera vez a los Dutch Industrial Suppliers & Customer Awards 2019 (DISCA’19). El fabricante de módulos de paletización y transporte vertical ha sido nominado por los proveedores para el Best Customer Award. Estas son las cuestiones que determinan si una empresa es candidata al Best Customer Award. Pero todos estos criterios se derivan, en realidad, del criterio más importante: ¿Ha obtenido la empresa lo que realmente buscaba? En otras palabras, ¿ha transmitido la empresa correctamente sus deseos acerca de la calidad del producto, tiempos de entrega, precio, etc.?

Qimarox invierte mucha energía en mejorar la comunicación con los proveedores. "Realizamos los pedidos desde nuestro sistema ERP directamente en Tradecloud. Los proveedores saben de inmediato si hay un nuevo pedido listo y pueden importarlo directamente a su propio sistema ERP sin tener que introducir los datos de forma manual. Esto garantiza un proceso mucho más eficiente, tanto del lado de Qimarox como del lado de los proveedores", explica Hendri de Ruiter, Gerente de Compras de Qimarox.

Uso óptimo de las competencias

Todas las comunicaciones entre Qimarox y los proveedores están ahora centralizadas en un único lugar. No solo De Ruiter, otros empleados de Qimarox pueden ver fácilmente lo que se ha acordado. Esta ventaja se aplica igualmente a los proveedores. "Nuestro objetivo es captar el máximo conocimiento posible en sistemas. Ponemos especial cuidado a la hora de definir las especificaciones que deben cumplir las piezas de adquisición. Esto evita errores y malos entendidos. Sobre todo en un momento en el que hay escasez de personal técnico, es importante comunicar de forma clara y eficiente para que las empresas puedan hacer un uso óptimo de las competencias de sus empleados. Esto es crucial para nosotros, pero también para nuestros proveedores", dice De Ruiter.

Actualmente, los nominados para las tres categorías – "Best Customer", "Best Knowledge Supplier" y "Best Logistics Supplier" – están siendo sometidos a un proceso de selección exhaustivo. La selección se basa en tres instrumentos de medición, desarrollados por Berenschot, DBSC Consulting y Brainport Industries en colaboración con Link Magazine. En cada categoría, las cinco empresas con mejor puntuación pasarán a la final. Un jurado formado por clientes y proveedores será el encargado de evaluar a los finalistas en su cumplimiento de los criterios. Los galardones serán presentados el jueves 21 de noviembre en el recinto para eventos Mereveld en Utrecht.

São candidatas a este prémio as empresas que oferecem aos seus fornecedores o maior número de mais-valias de forma transparente, com uma comunicação e acordos claros. Esta vantagem é extensível também aos fornecedores. “O nosso objetivo é reunir o máximo de informação possível nos nossos sistemas. Definimos, de forma pormenorizada, as características que as peças adquiridas devem respeitar. Isto evita situações de erro e equívocos. Especialmente num momento em que existe pouco pessoal técnico, é importante comunicar de forma clara e eficiente, para que as empresas possam otimizar a utilização das competências dos seus colaboradores. Este aspeto é crucial para nós, mas também para os nossos fornecedores”, afirma De Ruiter.

Para além de “melhor cliente”, existem ainda as categorias de “melhor fornecedor de conhecimento” e “melhor fornecedor de logística”. Atualmente, os nomeados para estas três categorias estão sujeitos a um exaustivo processo de seleção. A seleção é baseada em três instrumentos de medição, desenvolvidos pela Berenschot, DBSC Consulting e Brainport Industries em colaboração com a Link Magazine. São apuradas para a final as cinco empresas com melhor pontuação em cada categoria. Um júri composto por clientes e fornecedores irá avaliar os finalistas de acordo com os critérios definidos. La selezione si basa su tre strumenti di misura sviluppati da Berenschot, DBSC Consulting e Brainport Industries in collaborazione con Link Magazine. In finale arrivano le cinque aziende con i punteggi migliori di ciascuna categoria. Una giuria composta da clienti e fornitori valuta i finalisti in base ai parametri. Le constructeur de modules de transport vertical et de palettisation a été sélectionné par les fournisseurs dans la catégorie Best Customer Award (prix du meilleur client). Die gesamte Kommunikation zwischen Qimarox und den Lieferanten ist jetzt an einer Stelle zentralisiert. Nicht nur de Ruiter, sondern auch die anderen Kollegen bei Qimarox können auf einfache Weise nachvollziehen, was vereinbart wurde. Dieser Vorteil gilt auch für die Lieferanten. „Unser Ziel besteht darin, möglichst viel Wissen in Systemen zu erfassen. Wir gehen ziemlich weit in der Festlegung der Spezifikationen, denen die Einkaufsteile entsprechen müssen. So vermeiden wir Fehler und Missverständnisse. Gerade in dieser Zeit, die von einem chronischen Mangel an technischen Personal gekennzeichnet ist, ist es besonders wichtig, deutlich und effizient zu kommunizieren, damit Unternehmen in der Lage sind, die Kompetenzen ihrer Mitarbeiter optimal einzusetzen. Das ist lebenswichtig für uns, aber auch für unsere Lieferanten“, so de Ruiter.

Derzeit werden die Nominierten in allen drei Kategorien (neben „Best Customer“ gehören auch „Best Knowledge Supplier“ und „Best Logistics Supplier“ dazu) einem umfassenden Auswahlverfahren unterworfen. Die Auswahl erfolgt anhand von drei Messinstrumenten, die von Berenschot, DBSC Consulting und Brainport Industries in Zusammenarbeit mit Link Magazine entwickelt wurden. In jeder Kategorie gelangen die fünf Unternehmen mit den besten Ergebnissen ins Finale. Über diese fünf Unternehmen entscheidet dann eine Jury, die aus Kunden und Zulieferern der Finalisten besteht. Die Verleihung der Auszeichnungen endet am Donnerstag, dem 21. November in Boerderij Mereveld in Utrecht statt.

Companies that enable their suppliers to deliver as much added value as possible through transparency, clear communication and clear agreements are eligible for the award. Currently, the nominees for all three categories – besides ‘best customer’ being ‘best knowledge supplier’ and ‘best logistics supplier’ – are subject to an extensive selection procedure. The selection is based on three measuring instruments, developed by Berenschot, DBSC Consulting and Brainport Industries in collaboration with Link Magazine. For each category, the five best scoring companies will go through to the finals. A jury made up of customers and suppliers to the finalists will measure them against the yardstick. Of anders geformuleerd: wist het bedrijf zijn wensen - over productkwaliteit, levertijden, prijs, et cetera - adequaat over te brengen?

Qimarox steekt veel energie in verbetering van de communicatie met leveranciers. Met behulp van het platform Tradecloud heeft het bedrijf uit Harderwijk het inkoopproces volledig gedigitaliseerd en geautomatiseerd. “Wij plaatsen inkooporders vanuit ons ERP-systeem direct in Tradecloud. Leveranciers zien het meteen als een nieuwe inkooporder klaarstaat en kunnen die direct importeren in hun eigen ERP-systeem zonder handmatig gegevens te hoeven invoeren. Dat zorgt voor een veel efficiënter proces, zowel aan de zijde van Qimarox als aan de zijde van de leveranciers”, vertelt Purchasing Manager Hendri de Ruiter van Qimarox.

Competenties optimaal benutten

Alle communicatie tussen Qimarox en leveranciers staat nu op één plek. Niet alleen De Ruiter, maar ook de andere collega’s binnen Qimarox kunnen eenvoudig zien wat is afgesproken. Dat voordeel geldt ook voor de leveranciers. “Ons doel is zo veel mogelijk kennis vastleggen in systemen. Wij gaan vrij ver in het vastleggen van de specificaties waaraan de inkoopdelen moeten voldoen. Dat voorkomt fouten en misverstanden. Juist in deze tijd met een tekort aan technisch personeel is het zaak om duidelijk en efficiënt te communiceren, zodat bedrijven in staat zijn om de competenties van hun medewerkers optimaal in te zetten. Dat is cruciaal voor ons, maar ook voor onze leveranciers”, stelt De Ruiter.

Op dit moment worden de genomineerden voor alle drie categorieën - naast ‘best customer’ zijn dat ‘best knowledge supplier’ en ‘best logistics supplier’ - onderworpen aan een uitgebreide selectieprocedure. De selectie vindt plaats aan de hand van drie meetinstrumenten, die zijn ontwikkeld door Berenschot, DBSC Consulting en Brainport Industries in samenwerking met Link Magazine. Per categorie gaan de vijf best scorende bedrijven door naar de finale. Daarin worden ze langs de meetlat gelegd door een jury, die is samengesteld uit klanten en toeleveranciers van de finalisten. De uitreiking van de awards is op donderdag 21 november in Boerderij Mereveld in Utrecht.

Qimarox verkort levertijd tot twee weken

Nieuw: Fast Lane Service

Een productlift van topkwaliteit die in twee weken klaar is voor uitlevering. Dat is de belofte die Qimarox doet met de nieuwe Fast Lane Service. Systeemintegratoren uit de hele wereld kunnen nu sneller dan ooit beschikken over betrouwbare, duurzame en betaalbare material handling componenten. En dat allemaal voor dezelfde lage prijzen.

Een steeds groter deel van de tijd bij projecten, in productie en logistiek, gaat op aan de voorbereiding. Systeemintegratoren zijn veel tijd kwijt aan overleg met klanten over het exacte ontwerp van bijvoorbeeld een eindverpakkingslijn of orderpicksysteem. En als het ontwerp eenmaal is vastgesteld, rest vaak nog maar weinig tijd voor realisatie.

Qimarox speelt daarop in met de introductie van Fast Lane Service. Systeemintegratoren die met spoed een productlift nodig hebben, kunnen dankzij deze unieke service  in twee weken beschikken over een Prorunner mk1 verticaal transporteur. Deze ultrakorte levertijd maakt de productlift tot een nog aantrekkelijker alternatief voor andere verticaal transportsystemen. Zodra de order binnen is, starten de technici van Qimarox met assemblage van de Prorunner mk1.

Geen extra kosten

De Qimarox Fast Lane Service is mogelijk dankzij het modulaire ontwerp van de Prorunner serie. Door het gebruik van gestandaardiseerde, uitwisselbare componenten liggen de meeste onderdelen op voorraad. Voor productie is vervolgens niet meer dan twee weken nodig. Dan staat de productlift in Harderwijk klaar voor transport naar de eindbestemming.

Systeemintegratoren hoeven niet extra te betalen voor de Fast Lane Service. De belangrijkste voorwaarde is dat de stopwatch pas gaat lopen als het factuurbedrag is overgeboekt. Daarnaast geldt de service alleen voor orders met maximaal vier standaard productliften. Kiezen systeemintegratoren voor een aangepast ontwerp? Dan vergt de productie meer tijd en wordt de order toegevoegd aan de standaard productieplanning.

Reductie van doorlooptijden

Qimarox Fast Lane Service is met name een uitkomst voor systeemintegratoren op het Aziatische of Amerikaanse continent, die vaak te maken hebben met lange transporttijden. Met een productietijd van maximaal twee weken, winnen deze systeemintegratoren kostbare tijd. Door eventueel zelf de assemblage te verrichten, kan het transportvolume worden gereduceerd tot een relatief klein bouwpakket. Dat maakt het zelfs interessant om productliften te transporten als luchtvracht. Het resultaat: nog verdere reductie van doorlooptijden.

De Fast Lane Service start met de Prorunner mk1, de standaard productlift die inmiddels in honderden sites over de hele wereld in gebruik is. Als deze service een succes is, ontwikkelt Qimarox ook Fast Lane-trajecten voor de Prorunner mk5, mk9, mk10 en andere componenten. Het uiteindelijke doel: ultrakorte levertijden voor alle material handling componenten inclusief Qimarox’ palletiseermachines.
