De Prorunner PR12 van Qimarox brengt daarin verandering. De PR12 is een verticale transporteur die het bereik van AMR’s significant vergroot. Door robots met of zonder lading te verplaatsen tussen de verschillende verdiepingsvloeren kunnen bedrijven de inzetbaarheid en flexibiliteit verder vergroten. Met andere woorden: de PR12 stelt bedrijven in staat om in hoogte te groeien. De eerste machines zijn inmiddels uitgeleverd aan een e-commercebedrijf.

 

Veilig en snel

De Prorunner PR12 is een discontinue verticale transporteur met een minimale footprint. Wat de PR12 geschikt maakt voor transport van AMR’s en AGV’s, is de stijfheid van de constructie en de grote positioneernauwkeurigheid. Omdat de toleranties in verticale en horizontale richting kleiner zijn dan 5 millimeter, kunnen de voertuigen probleemloos het plateau op- en afrijden. De PR12 is voorzien van contourbewaking: als het voertuig op het plateau gaat schuiven of rollen, komt de machine direct tot stilstand. 

De Prorunner PR12 biedt een hoge capaciteit. Bij een hoogteverschil van 2 meter maakt de PR12 maar liefst 400 cycli per uur. Wat de machine uniek maakt, is de mogelijkheid om aan één kolom twee afzonderlijk aangedreven dragers te bevestigen. Daarmee kan de transportcapaciteit eenvoudig worden verdubbeld terwijl het ruimtebeslag tot een minimum beperkt blijft. Het verticale bereik van de Prorunner PR12 is maximaal 24 meter. Dat betekent dat één machine met gemak drie, vier, vijf of nog meer verdiepingen kan bedienen.

 

Ook voor producten

De Prorunner PR12 kan niet alleen worden ingezet voor het transport van AMR’s en AGV’s, maar ook van producten en ladingdragers. In dat geval kan het voor AMR’s en AGV’s bestemde plateau eenvoudig worden vervangen door een rollenbaan. Als de PR12 is uitgerust met twee dragers, is elke configuratie mogelijk: twee plateaus, twee rollenbanen of een combinatie van één plateau en één rollenbaan. Ook als na verloop van tijd het logistieke concept wordt gewijzigd, kan de PR12 eenvoudig worden omgebouwd.

Quick and safe transport of AMRs between multiple floors

 Autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) are rapidly gaining in popularity. They are relatively cheap, flexible and scalable. They can be easily deployed without having to modify the existing infrastructure. However, AMRs and AGVs have always had one limitation: they were difficult to move between different floors.

Safe and fast

The Prorunner PR12 is a discontinuous vertical conveyor with a minimal footprint. Its rigid construction and high positioning accuracy make the PR12 highly suitable for transporting AMRs and AGVs. Since the tolerances in vertical and horizontal directions are less than 5 millimetres, the vehicles can drive on and off the platform without difficulty. The PR12 is equipped with contour monitoring: if the vehicle on the platform starts to slide or roll, the machine comes to an immediate stop.

 The Prorunner PR12 offers a high capacity. With a height difference of 2 metres, the PR12 makes no less than 400 cycles per hour. What makes the machine unique is the possibility of attaching two separately driven carriers to one column. This makes it possible to easily double the transport capacity while keeping the space requirement to a minimum. The vertical range of the Prorunner PR12 is up to 24 metres. A single machine can, therefore, easily serve three, four, five or even more floors.

 

Also for products

Not only can the Prorunner PR12 be used for transporting AMRs and AGVs, but for products and load carriers too. In this case, the AMR and AGV platform can easily be replaced with a roller conveyor. If the PR12 is equipped with two carriers, any configuration is possible: two platforms, two roller conveyors or a combination of one platform and one roller conveyor. Even if the logistics concept changes over time, the PR12 can easily be converted.

Qimarox adds standard stretch-hood machine to its product range

After a ring wrapper, Qimarox has now also added a standard stretch hood machine to its range of material handling components. This innovative stretch hood machine distinguishes itself in the market by its lack of power-hungry technologies such as pneumatics and hydraulics. Like the previously introduced ring wrapper, this packaging machine can also be integrated with the palletising module of Qimarox in a complete final packaging system.

The Qimarox Highrunner mk7 is a modular, serially produced palletising module which can swiftly stack final packages of various shapes and sizes on pallets. Thanks to Qimarox’s latest addition to its range of material handling components, system partners of Qimarox can now supply complete systems for both palletising and packaging of pallets. End customers are therefore assured of a pallet with load that is not only secured and stabilised, but also guaranteed to be packaged both waterproof and dustproof.

Save on energy costs

This extremely compact stretch hood machine has four tensioning arms that can stretch a stretch wrap taut and pull it over the loaded pallet. When the tensioning arms release the stretch hood, the boxes, bags or other products on the pallet can no longer move due to the elasticity of the film. Because the four tensioning arms can move horizontally in two directions, the stretch wrapper can wrap any size of pallet.

What makes the machine unique is its lack of power-hungry technologies such as pneumatics and hydraulics to power the tensioning arms. Energy consumption is thus minimised, allowing end customers to save up to €3,500 on energy costs each year. In addition, the machine excels in ease of maintenance. Inspection of the machine or replacement of wearing parts can all take place at ground level, so moving machine parts are not required for service and maintenance work.

Qimarox introduces standard, high capacity OEM Ringwrapper

Easy to use and maintain, low in price

Qimarox has released a fast and reliable stretch wrapper, which, like its palletising modules, are sold exclusively to OEMs and system integrators. This versatile ring wrapper can reliably wrap up to 100 pallets in foil per hour (optionally dustproof and waterproof). Because the OEM Ringwrapper can be easily integrated in combination with the palletising modules of Qimarox, the integration and hardware costs of final packaging lines are even further reduced.

Qimarox’s Highrunner mk7 is selling well at the moment. The Highrunner mk7 is a modular, serially produced palletiser, which is often used in conjunction with a shrink wrapper. Expanding the product range with a standard ring wrapper will reduce integration and hardware costs even further. After all, similar to its palletising modules and other components, Qimarox’s OEM Ringwrapper is supplied without a control system. This allows system integrators to combine the control system of both the palletiser and the ring wrapper (and any other system components) in a single control unit.

Qimarox distinguishes itself from other material handling manufacturers who deliver their components with control cabinet as standard. The result of this is that each component of a packaging line from these other suppliers has its own completely unnecessary control unit, while a single control box for the entire system would in principle suffice. Modular design

Like the vertical transport systems and palletisers of Qimarox, this machine distinguishes itself through its high capacity, high quality and modular design.

The OEM Ringwrapper is a ring wrapper with a steel construction resting on four columns. The result is a shrink wrapper which is more stable and robust than turntable or rotary arm wrappers, which is therefore able to reach higher speeds of up to 100 pallets per hour. The OEM Ringwrapper is provided with a special pre-stretch system, which can stretch the film by 300%. Partly because the foil is applied under constant tension and batched, relatively little film is needed for stabilisation of the load. Because the film rotates, rather than the pallet, even the most unstable of stacked pallets can also be easily wrapped in foil.

Perfectly wrapped pallets

The OEM Ringwrapper can start and stop wrapping at any height, so that stacked pallets can also be stabilised separately, for example. The special film welding and cutting system applies a double welded seam at a controlled temperature and welding time, which makes for perfectly wrapped pallets with no loose bits of foil hanging off them. This means that these pallets won’t cause problems in automated storage systems. The OEM Ringwrapper also has an option for automatically applying a cover sheet, so the pallets can be made dustproof, or even waterproof, depending on the wrapping program.

Its unique design makes the OEM Ringwrapper very easy to use and maintain and cheap to buy. The optional automatic system for the exchange of film rolls helps avoid unnecessary downtime of the machine. The modular design with as many standard components as possible makes it easy to repair or replace parts. Because the OEM Ringwrapper is a standardised machine that is produced in series, the production costs and therefore also the purchase costs are low in comparison with similar shrink wrappers.

Quick to install, easy to integrate

Qimarox supplies the OEM Ringwrapper exclusively to system integrators and original equipment manufacturers. The machine is delivered fully wired and with sensors, motors and control software, so installation time is kept to a minimum and integration with the rest of the system (such as palletisers, palletiser robots and/or conveyors) is simplified. Of course, the OEM Ringwrapper can also be fully integrated into the Highrunner mk7, the palletiser of Qimarox.

Qimarox improves accessibility of palletisers

Qimarox has increased the accessibility of its palletisers for operators and service engineers. The manufacturer of components for material handling systems has developed an innovative elevated walkway construction that makes it possible to reach both the pallet and the palletiser in a simple and safe manner to correct pallet stacks or perform maintenance. The elevated walkway system has been patented for use with the Qimarox Crossrunner system. This clever system allows multiple Highrunner palletisers to be installed in-line. The result is a compact arrangement in which only one roller conveyor is required to supply and remove all the pallets.

Because the palletising process of elevated infeed machines takes place several metres above the roller conveyor, machine accessibility can be a problem. Qimarox solved this problem by designing a system of elevated walkways that do not intersect. ‘This allows us to meet the needs of customers who rightly place high demands on the accessibility of their palletisers. Operators can now make any corrections that may be needed without having to climb, crawl or stoop. Easy, safe and compact

The new elevated walkway system has two levels. The upper walkway is at the height of the pattern-formation conveyor, where the products are supplied and the pallet layers are formed and deposited. The lower walkway is at the height of the pallets and the built in lifts that deposit the pallets on the roller conveyor. Stairs are installed at various locations so operators can quickly move between walkways at any time.

The system is designed so that each pallet and palletiser unit can be accessed from several sides. Because the walkways never cross, operators at the lower level never have to bend down to restack a pallet or perform maintenance. This promotes safety and ergonomics. An additional advantage is that the shape of the walkways falls within the contours of the Crossrunner system, so that it remains the most compact arrangement for multiple palletising units on the market.

Der Hersteller von Komponenten für Material-Handling-Systeme hat eine innovative Podestkonstruktion entworfen, die es ermöglicht, sowohl die Palette als auch die Palettiermaschine auf einfache Weise zu erreichen, um beispielsweise Palettenstapelungen zu korrigieren oder Wartungsarbeiten durchzuführen. Die  Podestkonstruktion ist patentiert im Rahmen des Crossrunner-Systems von Qimarox. Einfach, sicher und kompakt

Die neue Podestkonstruktion hat zwei Ebenen. Das obere Podest befindet sich in Höhe der Formatierbahn, d. h. an der Stelle, an der die Produkte herantransportiert werden und an der die Palettenschichten gebildet und abgelegt werden. Das untere Podest befindet sich in Höhe der Paletten und der eingebauten Förderer, die die Paletten auf der Rollenbahn absetzen. An verschiedenen Stellen sind Treppen vorhanden, damit Bediener jederzeit schnell zwischen den Ebenen wechseln können.

Die Konstruktion ist so entworfen, dass jede Palette und jede Palettiervorrichtung von mehreren Seiten zugänglich ist. Weil die Podeste einander nirgendwo kreuzen, brauchen Bediener auf der unteren Ebene sich nicht zu bücken, um eine Palette neu zu stapeln oder um Wartungsarbeiten durchzuführen. Dies fördert die Sicherheit und die Ergonomie. Ein weiterer Vorteil besteht darin, dass die Form der Podeste zu den Konturen des Crossrunner-Systems passt. Damit bleibt das Crossrunner-System auf dem Markt die kompakteste Anordnung mit mehreren Palettiervorrichtungen.
